Dr. Adeiza AbdulRahman hails from Obangede Okehi LGA, Kogi State. A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with Doctor of veterinary medicine, M.Sc in Public Health and preventive medicine and an ongoing Ph. D in the same field at the University of Abuja. He also had Post graduate diploma in management, Masters in development Studies and Masters in Business Administration from other Universities.

Dr Adeiza started as a Lecturer in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He later joined a multinational pharmaceutical company, MSD that took him to various of the world. He returned home into the business world of Farming, consultancy, Motivational speaking in addition to returning to University of Abuja as a Lecturer.

Dr Adeiza firmly believes in the axiom that ‘You cannot be good until/unless you have given your best to your community and nation at large’ Dr Adeiza is happily married with children.

Born on March 9, 1960, late Adinoyi Ojo Onukaba hails from Oboroke-Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi State to the family of Mallam Shuaibu Onukaba and Hajia Aisha Onukaba.

He graduated from the University of Ibadan (UI) in 1982 at the Department of Theatre Arts. Adinoyi Onukaba served his fatherland at Radio Nigeria, Ikoyi –Lagos in 1982/83.

His journalism career

Adinoyi Ojo Onukaba began his journalism journey at The Guardian newspapers as one of its pioneer reporters in 1983, where he rose to the position of News Editor before travelling out in 1989 for graduate studies. He bagged Master of Arts degree in Journalism from New York University, New York, USA.

International career

Adinoyi Ojo Onukaba worked as a Research Officer at the African Leadership Forum, New York. He also served as the Information officer, Division of Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, United Nations Operation in Somalia (UNOSOM) between 1994 and 1995. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1996 from New York University. Dr. Onukaba became Adjunct Professor of Mass Communication at the School of New Resources, College of New Rochelle, New York in 1997.

Between 1997 and 1998, Adinoyi Ojo Onukaba worked as Press Officer, Department of Public Information, United Nations (New York). In June 1998, Onukaba was sent to Iraq as an Information Officer, United Nations Office of the Humanitarian Coordinator. Upon his return to Nigeria in 1999 to participate in the present democratic dispensation, his sterling qualities and ability to succeed caught the attention of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who appointed him as Special Assistant on Media Relations. As a journalist with unique qualities, Adinoyi Ojo Onukaba had known and related closely with both Atiku and Olusegun Obasanjo since 1984.

Adinoyi Onukaba as the Managing Director of Daily Times

Onukaba got to the peak of his journalistic career in August 1999 when he was appointed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the then ailing Daily Times of Nigeria PLC. He worked tirelessly to reposition the Daily Times. His efforts at Daily Times made the newspaper firm attractive to investors before it was privatized in 2004. Onukaba returned to the presidency as Senior Special Assistant to the former Vice president Atiku Abubakar on Public Communications between July 2003 and April 2005.

Beyond Onukaba’s humble exterior lies impenetrable armour of principle and dedication to duty. In December 2005, the Okun Youth Solidarity Forum (OYSF) led by Hon. Adeniyi Sunday Bello, honoured him with the “Pillar of Youth Award” in recognition of his services to the State. Earlier in 2001, the then Governor Abubakar Audu of Kogi State honoured him as one of the distinguished citizens of the state. Onukaba has received numerous other awards for his decency, integrity, creativity and kindness.

Onukaba as a biographer/writer

Adinoyi Ojo Onukaba was a seasoned journalist, playwright and publisher of high repute, has published so many books and journals including: “In the Eye of Time”- a biography of former President Olusegun Obasanjo. “Atiku Abubakar”– a biography of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. “Born to Run” – a biography of Late Dele Giwa, co-authored by him and Dele Olojede.

Onukaba as a playwright

Some of his plays include Her Majesty’s Visit, A Resting Place, Tower of Burden, The Virginity Flee, The Lone Ranger, Bargain Hunting, and Soommalliyya. His play, “The Killing Swamp” was one of the three finalists for the 2010 NLNG Literature Award. He is veteran journalist and member of the All Progressives Congress.

Ojo-Onukaba was a governorship aspirant in the last Kogi Primary election.

Marital life

The late Onukaba was married to Rachael, but remarried when his first wife died about five years ago. He remarried in 2015 to Memunat.

Dr. Adinoyi Ojo Onukaba died on March 5, 2017 on his way back to Abuja. He was returning from Abeokuta, where he attended the commissioning of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.

Onukaba is survived by three children — two girls and a boy.

EPA – Assistant Secretary General-ASG Ibrahim Adaviruku SADIQ was born in 1960 in Oboroke – Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi State. He has a B.Sc Accounting and M.Sc Finance. He is a chartered member of professional bodies in Accountancy, Taxation, Administration and Management.

Currently, Ibrahim Adaviruku is a multidisciplinary financial and management consultant. His work experience has spanned 30years starting the tutelage as a trainee accountant with then Peat Marwick, Ani, Ogunde & Co, now KPMG (Chartered Accountants).

He is the Managing Consultant of Frontiers Consulting & Associates, a firm of financial and management consultants engaged in human capital and entrepreneurial development, accountancy, audit, taxation, business consulting, finance and management services producing practical and workable action plans for clients.

Ibrahim Adaviruku is a board member in a few privately owned limited liability companies. As a team leader, he is a team member.

He is married with children. Loves sports and reading for leisure. He  the privilege to serve Ebira People Association EPA as Assistant Secretary General ASG

D in Metallurgical Engineering from Magnitogorsk State Technical University, Russia. Registered with Council for the Regulation of Engineers and Member Nigerian Society of Engineers.

Isah Abdullah Omeiza was born on the 15th Aug. 1969. He Schooled at LSMB , Iresuha – Inoziomi in Adavi LGA and proceeded to Gov. School Kuroko from October 1983 to 1987 and then to Okehi Community Secondary School, Eika-Ohizenyi in Okehi LGA between 1987 and 1988.

 He attended Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin where he studied Public Accounting and Auditing at Diploma level between 1995 and 1997 before joining Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja for his National Diploma in accountancy (ND) in 2009/2010 to 2011 academic year.

Isah Abdullahi proceeded for his Higher National Diploma (HND) from 2011 to 2013 and presently studying a professional course at the Nigeria College of Accountancy at the Association of National Accountant of Nigeria. ( ANAN).

He worked with the Nigeria Airways Limited from October 1990 to December 1998 and currently I am working at Federal Medical Centre , Lokoja.

Isah Abdullahi is the National treasurer of EPA. He is married with children Insha’Allah. His hobbies are worshiping Allah and partaking in community services.

Barny Adeku Ojiah, the founder of Crown Resources Dev. Co Ltd (Credco) an indigenous company with interest spanning Renewable Energy Power Projects, Civil Engineering, Production of Granites.

He schooled variously at AMCO, Okene, ABU Zaria where he read Insurance, Kensington University Glandale and graduated with Masters degree in Business Administration.

He is an alumnus of Institute of Public Private Partnership (IP3) Washington DC, married and blessed with children. A Knight of the order of Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria, serves as an EPA Exco in the Directorate of Finance.

Engr. Abdul Lawal Zubair is a Consultant based in Abuja with specialty in the areas of Engineering Project Design, Management and trainer of engineers in the use of modern engineering tools.

He is the Exclusive partner of Midas IT Co; of South Korea and Sivan design D. S of Israel. To be closer to the people of his kingdom, he establishes a farm where many of our young ones get employed, do student experience services etc at Osara in Adavi LGA of Kogi State ( Fazsal Farms).

Mr. Fazsal as he is fondly called also runs other corporate organizations like RHZ Generation Concept & Jafaz Global Technology Limited. He is happily married with children

Alh Mohammed M. Omuya is the coordinator of Mobilization Directorate of EPA. He holds B.Sc(Hons) in Geography from A.B.U. Zaria and an MBA . He had worked at the National Population Commission, as Cartographer & Comptroller, Council Chairman of Okene LGA, Kogi State, And as Permanent Member, Kogi State Local Govt Service Commission (2008-2012).

He also worked with SAN HUSANU (Nig) Ltd as Operations Manager, SABALIMO & Co. Ltd as Chairman/CEO.(1998 till date, except periods of public services). LIMO COMMUNICATIONS (Nig) LTD as Chairman/MD.(2007 till date, except periods of public services) He is a member of Ohiku-Egbira Descendants Union as National Coordinator (1999-2001) & Zonal chairman (2001-2005).

Mr Adinoyi Joseph Anivasa was born on the 15th of February, 1952 at Oboroke in Ihima District of Okehi LGA of Kogi State. He is a retired Deputy Director from the Federal Civil Service of Nigeria on attaining the mandatory retirement age of Sixty (60) in February, 2012.

He was a seasoned Administrator who served meritoriously well both in Private and Public Sector. He has also served with an unblemished record of service for 26 years out of which 7 years was spent serving the Government of Kwara & Kogi States respectively, while 19 years was spent serving at the Federal Civil Service in various Ministries and Departments at different capacities with the following Academic and Professional qualifications:

(1) HND, Higher National Diploma in Sec Administration from Kwara Tech, Ilorin (now Kwara Poly). (2) ADPA, Advanced Diploma in Public Administration from Kwara Poly, Ilorin. (3) PGDJ, Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from International Institute of Journalism, Abuja. (4) PGDM, Postgraduate Diploma in Management from University of Calabar. (5) MPA, Master Degree in Public Administration from Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye.

He is a member of the following Professional Bodies:

(1) Nigeria Institute of Management.

Mr Anivasa is now by the Grace of God enjoying a quiet life with his family in Abuja as one of the Senior Citizens of this Great Nation – Nigeria. He has been rendering and still rendering voluntary services to his beloved people of Ebira nation.

Mrs. Francisca Onyinoyi Aiyetan works at the National Broadcasting Commission as the Zonal Director, National Broadcasting Commission, Abuja Zone. She supervises broadcasting stations located in Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger States and the Federal Capital Territory. A seasoned professional and avowed coach in the broadcasting industry.

Mrs. Aiyetan is a graduate of Performing Arts from the University of Ilorin and also holds a Master’s Degree in Media Arts from the University of Abuja Nigeria. Also she has a Higher Executive Certificate in Marketing from the University of Lagos. She has worked in broadcasting for over 26 years.

Before joining the National Broadcasting Commission as a regulator, she had worked for the Kogi State Ministry of Education as a Literature/Drama teacher in Queen of Apostles College Okene, touring with her students to perform plays and other literary displays. And at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), where she worked as a Marketing Officer.

In the 90s, she featured in many tele-dramas on the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Network programmes, most popular amongst them being the rested Third Eye scripted by Cordelia Eke and directed by quintessential producers like Late Lai Arasanmi and later Last Eguavon.

Franca’s passion is in the Art. – Drama, Dance and Music in that order. She also enjoys the art of photography. As she rose through the ranks at the NBC, she worked in Public Affairs the longest, heading the audiovisual unit and turning her passion to job. Her present Job takes her round Broadcasting Stations in the North Central Nigeria, enforcing ethical standards and professionalism, a duty that has endeared her to broadcast Stations that are built on ethical standards, however, others with nebulous tendencies see her as a foe.

Mrs. Aiyetan has attended several Seminars, Conferences and professional events at home and abroad some of which are, Annual MIPCOM show in Cannes, France; International Broadcast Conference Rai, Amsterdam, Commonwealth Telecommunication Organization, Johannesburg, Africa Com Cape Town South Africa. Etc. she trained under the world renowned Crestcom Bulletproof Managers in management.

She is a member of the Society of Nigerian Theater Artist (SONTA); Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM); University of Ilorin Preforming Arts Alumni (UPAA) etc. Mrs. Aiyetan is married with Children.

Hajiya Zainab Suleiman Okino is the immediate past Commissioner for Information in Kogi State and now Editor-in-Chief, Blueprint Newspaper. She is an astute journalist, writer and communications professional with undisputed mark of distinction.

Hajiya Zainab Suleiman Okino has over 25 years of cognate experience as a media practitioner, researcher, writer, administrator, consultant, public policy analyst and a social critic.

She has had an outstanding career since she made her foray into the media and communications industry in 1988. She moved to Media Trust Ltd. in 1998 as the pioneer Production Editor of Weekly Trust Newspaper.

While at Media Trust, her exceptional qualities saw her grow through the ranks as she became the substantive editor of Weekly Trust, after she had served as Deputy Editor of Daily Trust, and subsequently became the Deputy Managing Editor and Deputy Chairman of the Editorial Board of Daily Trust.

Her performance in both editorial and administrative capacities at Media Trust during which she assumed responsibility for the overall editorial content and policy direction of the newspaper birthed one of the most profitable media organisations in Nigeria’s history.

Between 1998 and 2007, she galvanized the entire media organization to drive the newspaper’s vision to an enviable editorial and commercial success.

Following a successful career at Media Trust, where she was also a columnist, she moved to Leadership Newspaper as Managing Editor in 2008 and later worked at to The Sun Newspaper as Editor-at-Large during which her weekly column Rendezvous attracted large national and international readership with her breath-taking and incisive discourse of public policies, national and other social issues critical for the survival of the Nigerian state.

Musa Itopa Jimoh holds a B.Sc in Computer Engineering and Masters in Business Administration. He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife; Enugu State University of Technology, Enugu; Lagos Business School, Lagos.

He is a fellow of the Fletcher Schools, Tufts University, Massachusetts, USA. Musa has over 25 years work experience and had worked with Information Technology Companies, Banks and Financial Service industries, among which are FSB International Bank as head e-Banking group, First Bank pic as head Application development, ValuCard Nigeria as Group Head Information Technology and Operations and now with the Central Bank of Nigeria as the Head, Payment System Policy and Oversight.

He has attended several local and international trainings including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York training on Payment systems, Institute of Public and Private Partnership, IP3, Washington DC and Consumer Credits from George Mason University, Virginia.

Musa has passion for touching lives in positive ways. He is currently the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Anebira Kane Eri Development Foundation and a member of Media and Publicity Directorate, EPA. He is married with children.

He attended St Andrew Primary School Okene, Okehi Community Sec School Uboro, Graduate of Mathematic/Statistics Kogi State Polytechnic. Lokoja. He is a well determined and vigorous Individual, yet pleasantly calm. He is a Script Writer, Producer and Director of Calabash Film Industry.

He has produced so many movies and documentaries ranging from comic fantasies to urban, contemplative comedies and documentaries. Winner of several indigenous film awards whose work is being aired by MyTv.

Promoting cultural heritage and taking the indigenous industry to greater heights is his drive. He likes writing stories and spending time with his loved ones.

Ramatu Tasalla Shehu, (Registrar General), Abuja Multi-Door Courthouse of the FCT High Court, Abuja. She is a graduate of Bayero University, Kano (LLB) and obtained her BL from Nigeria Law School, Lagos.

She started her working carrier from the Federal Ministry of Justice as a Research Assistance and switched over to the bench at the FCT High Court as a Magistrate grade 11, where she rose through the ranks to her present position. She performed a few adhoc assignments; a brief stay in the Gambia under the umbrella of Technical Aids Corp for two years as a Magistrate, served in several Election Tribunals, etc. Ramatu Tasalla Shehu is an honest, disciplined and committed person, diligence in given assignments, in appreciation for an opportunity to serve. A simple contented human being who strive to serve humanity applying equity and fairness. She loves to impact on the society.

Alh Mohammed Bello hails from Okene.

He had his primary school In Okene central school and secondary school at St Augustine. He had worked with ABU Zaria before proceeding to start his own distribution company which also involved in running cultured Marble industry in Nigeria in 1978.

He is also an astute politician. He contested as Deputy Governor under NDP in 2007.

He is an executive member of Ohiku Ebira decendant union (Oedu) and also executive member of EPA.

Rukayat Salaudeen is a Legal Practitioner with a broad spectrum of experience in Corporate and Commercial Legal Practice spanning 17 years post call. She was appointed as the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of Jaiz Bank Plc.

In December 2011, having previously served in the same capacity at Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc, one of the foremost insurance companies in Nigeria.

She has attended many local and overseas training and one of her passions is seeing to the entrenchment of justice and accountability in all spheres of our social and political engagements.

Born on the 12th of December, Aliyu Saka Ahmed is a Legal Practitioner of 24 years’ standing. He is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association, an Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Fellow of Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria. He Started his career as a corporate and litigation Counsel.

He went into the banking sector as a corporate counsel between 1997 and 2010, Aliyu Saka Ahmed joined the FIRS as Secretary, Tax Appeal Tribunal, Abuja in the year 2010.

Married with five kids, Aliyu Saka Ahmed, is a member of the International Association for Court Administration.
